Gym Free Training - a do anywhere outdoor workout. Learn cardio and strength ideas to use at home! Learn form while performing strength, balance, and core exercises utilizing the playground and surrounding equipment. You will have weekly homework to complete of 20min- 1 hour. Suggested equipment: Mat and/or towel. ***No drop-ins. Minimum of 6 to hold class.

Pickleball courts now available inside the hockey rink at Nisswa City Park. Two striped courts and nets are ready for play. Bring your own paddles and balls, or ckeck out a set from City Hall, and enjoy this paddle sport for all ages and skill levels. A game for 2 or 4 people, Pickleball uses oversized ping-pong type rackets to hit a whiffle ball over a 3 foot net on a court. It combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. Rules are simple and the game is easy to learn for beginners or can be competitive for more experienced players. Adult open Pickleball time are available to just show up and play with others who want to enjoy the sport. Or, organize your own game and play on a first-come, first serve basis any day after 11am. All play is free to the public.

For ages 55+. Learn about the new Minnesota traffic laws and regulations, 3 major problem areas for senior drivers, and video with discussion. Upon completion of the course, you will receive a certificate that you can turn into your car insurance company for a 10% discount. Coffee and cookies will be provided. Minimum of 10 participants required.
When: 10:00 am-2:00 pm, July 12, or August 23.
Where: Nisswa Community Center.
