Since 1954, Nisswa Fire and Rescue has been a volunteer department providing fire protection and emergency medical services for the Nisswa, Lake Edwards, Lakeshore, Pelican, and Sibley communities. Our department is staffed by 27 always ready to respond volunteers, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Last year in 2021 our department responded to 390 emergency service calls.

Your donations have allowed us to keep our apparatus stocked with modern firefighting and medical equipment, as well as purchasing needed equipment for our members. This upcoming year’s needs include:
